Ace Solitaire

How to play

A game can be opened by clicking the button "New Game". The player who opened the game can set the maximum skill level of the desired opponent. S/he is of course also free to participate in a game already opened by another player.

Simply click on a card to select it and to remove it from the playing field. The selected card will be highlighted in orange. To deselect a card, click on it again and the orange boarder will disappear. Cards that are partially covered by another card cannot be selected.

On the playing field, the cards are laid out in five rows. Below is a deck of cards faced down. By clicking on the deck, a new card is revealed and placed to the right of the deck (in the first of two positions). By clicking on the deck again, a second new card is revealed, which pushes the first card into the second position. If the player clicks on the deck again (and two cards are already next to the deck), the card furthest from the deck is positioned into one of the rows above. If there is no space above, the card is lost.

The number of cards remaining in the deck is shown just above the deck itself. To the left of the deck remaining time is indicated.

Ace Solitaire is played as a duel. The following rules apply:

  • Both players start out the same and receive the same cards per round.
  • Players can play a round consecutively.
  • After you finish your game, you can watch your opponent, leave the table or even start a new round.
  • It is also possible to invite other players, but opening private tables is not allowed.

Rules of the game

Ace Solitaire is a card game for two-players in direct competition. The objective of the game is to completely clear the playing field of cards. The player can achieve this by clicking on cards that add up to 11. The player may click on any of the cards on the playing field and next to the deck, provided they are not partially covered by another card.

The game ends as soon as all of the cards have been removed from the playing field, or when no more moves are possible.

The scoring system

The playing field is divided into five rows (1-5) and two deck card positions. The value of the cards depends on which row they are in:

Deck cards: 100 points

Row 1: 200 points

Row 2: 300 points

Row3: 400 points

Row4: 500 points

Row 5: 800 points

The player receives an additional 10,000 points for completely clearing the playing field (excluding the deck cards).
