Sugar!
Rules of the game
Sugar is a game for two players. At the beginning the entire playing field is full of candy. Using the mouse, a player can switch two objects lying next to each. If s/he brings three of the same kind of object into the row, the objects disappear. The remaining sweets move in to fill up the empty space, while new objects fall onto the field.
Bombs may also fall onto the field. If a player gets at least four sweets into a row, s/he gets a bomb. This bomb contains a countdown from three to one. With every move the countdown goes down by one until it finally explodes at zero and clears all the sweets around it. Should there be another bomb hidden among the sweets, it also explodes. A player gets points for every object cleared by the bomb.
The game is over once the player cannot switch any more objects or once the field is cleared. The game can also be ended by clicking the "Finish" button. There is a limited number of sweets. If there are none left, none are generated.
How to play
As Sugar is a game for two players, it is always played by two opponents. Players can either join a game which is already open or start one of their own by clicking the "New Game" button. A small window will appear in which it is possible to e.g. set the desired skill level of the opponent.
Sugar consists of a field full of seven different types of sweets. Any object can be switched using the mouse. Five points are awarded for every object cleared. Clearing means getting three or more objects of the same type in a row, after which they disappear. Points are given for every object in the row.
If a player does not know what to do at any point in the game, s/he can get help by clicking the "Tips" button. The next object which can be switched is shown in the field, but this move costs penalty points.
Sweets fall onto the field from different directions. At the start of the game they fall from top to bottom. Other possibilities are right to left, bottom to top or left to right. The direction changes once the player clears four sweets simultaneously.
The scoring system
A player gets 5 points for every object cleared. If a player succeeds in getting 3 objects in a row, s/he gets 15 points, and 5 points more for every object cleared in a chain reaction. This means that a player gets 15 points for the first group of three objects, 30 points for the second group etc. If a bomb explodes the player gets 20 points for every object cleared. There is a 50-point penalty for clicking the "Tips” button.

Loss of connection for single-player games
For a game to be classed as won, the applicable game rules must have been adhered to
Should a player lose his/her connection, he/she has 2 minutes, in which to re-enter the game. The game clock will continue to count down while the player is disconnected. Should the 2 minutes pass before the player manages to return to the game, the last points recorded will be the final score.
Loss of connection for multiplayer games
For a game to be classed as won, the applicable game rules must have been adhered to. Furthermore, the winner of the game must have maintained a connection to the game server for the duration of the game.
Should a player lose his/her connection, he/she has 2 minutes, in which to re-enter the game. Should this be achieved, there shall be no consequences, provided that the player is not ejected from the game by the opponent for exceeding the allowed time. In the case that the 2 minute time limit is exceeded, the computer will take the ejected player's place and complete the game. The player still has the opportunity to re-enter the game.
In the case that the computer or the player who re-enters the game after the allowed time limit wins, the original stakes shall be refunded to both players. Otherwise, the game will be classed as lost. Should both players lose their connections during the game, both will receive their original stakes.
